Philadelphia Hates Fashion...

July 4th. The anniversary of the publication of the declaration of independence from Great Britain in 1776. We celebrate the American tradition of political freedom. I don't know about you but I am going to celebrate in Philadelphia where I currently live. I will eat sketchy meat products, drink beer and watch entertainment I didn't pay to see. As for my values I will definitely make an attempt at a summer outfit which I deem appropriate for the occasion however I cannot speak on behalf of the rest of Philadelphia. Let's talk about the July 4th holiday: what will you be doing, drinking and what will you be wearing? Where should we draw the line with our "holiday outfits"? I predict, as I watch The Goo Goo Dolls perform at the Art Museum steps, I will see my share of skin. Patriotic, proud and ready to prove to the rest of the world; Philadelphia hates fashion.
